ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP550L: A Kenyan Review

January 28, 2016

At first glance, the ASUS Transformer Book Flip looks like just an ordinary heavy-duty laptop that you would use for word processing or to watch movies on.

A closer look however would reveal a machine that goes beyond an ordinary laptop and more like a professional computer with capabilities found only on a high-end machine.

With 4GB of RAM that is expandable to 8GB, you would be right to say that the device is as fast as they come. With this huge working memory, you can now fire up your favorite music player, photo editor, and continue typing away without any signs of stutters.

This is a beast capable of handling just about anything a normal laptop would, and more.

If you love to watch movies, edit videos, or even run huge programs, the 1TB of memory will do you justice. This is enough mem to pack your favorite tracks, games, programs, and movies (in HD) with space to spare.

You no longer have to drag that external hard-drive to meetings or workplaces anymore.

The Transformer’s 15.6-inch screen is huge enough for many, but would it not be even cooler if it was a touch-screen? Well, ASUS went ahead and did exactly that.

This huge touch-screen is well-suited to anyone in the creative industry such as artists, architects, painters, or graphic designers. The touch functionality gives your work an extra dimension making it more personal.

Did I mention you can flip the laptop into tablet mode? Think of how it would feel shifting from a laptop into a tablet while enjoying the huge screen capabilities. You can work from any position while still being productive as the video above shows.

All in all, I would say the ASUS Transformer is a great device for people who want a fast device with a huge screen real estate, those who want explore different styles and angles of working, or for anyone who wants a cool device to show off to their friends.
