The Cubot Dinosaur is an awesome budget Android smartphone that recently became available in Kenya.

The smartphone features a number of impressive features with the highlight being its performance profile.

That said, here is what the Ksh. 13,999 Cubot Dinosaur has to offer.

Operating System: Android 6.0

CPU: 1.3 GHz Quad-Core

Internal Memory: 16 GB

Micro SD: Yes, up to 128 GB

The performance profile of the Cubot Dinosaur is definitely the highlight of the smartphone. You get a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MT6735A chipset and 3GB RAM.

This is an awesome set-up and is in line with what you can get from the market at that price point. In addition to this, the Cubot Dinosaur runs Android 6.0 out of the box, which is great.

In addition to this you get 16 GB as internal storage and a Micro-SD slot that can handle up to 128 GB of memory.

Battery Capacity: 4150 mAh

The battery capacity of the Cubot Dinosaur is another unique selling point of the Cubot Dinosaur.

This is among the largest battery capacity you will find in a budget smartphone and Cubot seems to be serious about maintaining its reputation of offering battery-centric smartphones.

The downside of such a large battery capacity is that it takes quite a while to charge up since the smartphone lacks a fast-charging feature.

Display Size: 5.5-Inch

Display Type: IPS LCD

Screen Resolution: 720 x 1280 pixels

Screen Resolution Density: 267 ppi

Screen Protection: None

Another highlight of the Cubot Dinosaur is the 5.5-Inch 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display.

It’s awesome that Cubot included the display technology on the smartphone, but it would have been awesome if the smartphone had a Full HD display.

Dimensions: 152.3 x 77.2 x 8.8 mm

The Cubot Dinosaur features the generic budget smartphone design. Nothing really stands out about the smartphone apart from the metallic-looking texture.

Rear Camera: 13 MP

Secondary Camera: 5 MP

LED Flash: Yes

You get a 13 MP camera for general photography and a 5 MP camera for your selfies.

Dual SIM

The Cubot Dinosaur is a fine choice if you are out shopping for a decent budget smartphone with a fantastic battery life.
