Fortunately, there is the Avast! Anti-Theft App Avast, a free Android App that will guide you through permanently Deleting and overwriting data next time you wish to sell off your smartphone.

Step #1

Install the Avast! Anti-Theft App from the Play Store

Step #2

Follow the prompts and complete the setup.

Step #3

Link your device to your Avast account, if you lack one, you can create one for free.

Step # 4

With that done, log in to your My Avast Account > My Device > Choose Device > Choose Command > Wipe

The command is automatically sent to your Smartphone, and all the Data will be permanently deleted and Junk Data rewritten to prevent recovery.
