Huawei and Safaricom are celebrating a 14-year anniversary of their business partnership.
Safaricom has worked with Huawei for not only as a supplier of smartphone to its retail shops, but also as an important partner when in the modernization of the Safaricom’s 4G, 3G, 2G network infrastructure.
Safaricom is currently one of the oldest Smartphone vendors in Kenya and it currently has a 10% market share in the market.
To mark the anniversary, Huawei is offering a 10% discount on select smartphones from its entry-level, mid-range and high-end segment.
The Huawei Mate 8 and P9 are now priced at Ksh. 52,000 and Ksh. 50,000 down from Ksh. 57,100 and Ksh. 54,000 respectively.
The Huawei GR3 now goes for Ksh. 16,000, the Y3II for Ksh. 9,000 and Huawei Y360 for Ksh. 5,500.
