The Huawei Y360 is one of the latest Huawei budget smartphone. The Y360 was unveiled back in June 2015 but the smartphone became available in the Kenyan smartphone market just a couple of weeks ago and was among the lead smartphones during the Safaricom December 2015 open day.

That said, here is what the Huawei Y360 has to offer.

You get a 4.0-inch IPS LCD display with the Huawei Y360. A 4.0-inch isn’t that eye catching but it being an IPS LCD display is noteworthy. Most budget smartphones come with TFT displays, which is an inferior type of LCD technology.

The rather tiny display was the silver lining that gave the smartphone an impressive 245 ppi screen resolution density. You do not get any form of screen technology and thus you will be better off bundling a screen protector with the Y360 purchase.

The Huawei Y360 is tiny, petite to be precise if compared to the Android large-screened smartphones found in the market. Its tiny construction gives it a 118g, which is light by all standards.

A Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor powers the Huawei Y360. This is coupled with some 512 MB RAM. The choice of 512 MB RAM might be a bit out of place considering that vendors are now active is eliminating low memory smartphones out of their portfolios.

It is however, important to mention that Android OS, v4.4.4 (KitKat) is optimized to run on 512 MB of memory and thus glitches and stutters might pop up during operation, but you will otherwise, enjoy a smooth Android experience.
