Microsoft officially launches the Lumia 550, 950 and 950 XL in Kenya

Microsoft has officially launched three of its latest smartphones in Kenya. The new smartphone launched today includes the Microsoft Lumia 550, 650, 950 and 950 XL.

The three smartphones are the first to run Windows 10 out of the box and their Kenyan launch comes a couple of months after Microsoft unveiled them to the world on October 2015.


The Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL are two high-end smartphones that feature the best specifications that the smartphone vendor has to offer.

The 950 and 950 XL feature an array of premium features with the prime one being Continuum, a utility that via a dock allows you to transform the smartphone into a functional PC.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 has a suggested retail price of Ksh. 65,000 while the Lumia 950 XL has a suggested retail price of Ksh. 69,999 in Kenya.

The Microsoft Lumia 650 is a mid-range smartphone that sports a premium metallic construction and some impressive technical specifications. The Microsoft Lumia 650 has a suggested retail price of Ksh. 23,000 in Kenya.
