The Motorola Moto C Plus is a budget smartphone that is part of the recent move by Motorola to re-enter the Kenyan market.

The C Plus packs an entry-level price tag, with the highlight being its enormous battery and its attractive price tag.

That said, here is what the Motorola Moto C has to offer.

Highlights – why you should buy the phone

Battery and Extras

Battery Capacity: Li-Po 4000 mAh

The Moto C features a large 4000 mAh battery. This is the prime feature of the Moto C Plus. Motorolla promises up to 40 hours from a single charge, while on moderate usage.

Kenyans/Africans listed battery as one of the core smartphone purchase driver and thus the Moto C Plus is likely to easily appeal to smartphone buyers in the Kenyan market.

The Moto C Plus has a suggested retail price of Ksh. 12,999. The price is in the popular Ksh. 10,000 to Ksh. 15,000 segment, hence appealing.

Specifications Review

Display Size: TFT capacitive

Screen Resolution: 720 x 1280 pixels

Screen Resolution Density: 294 PPI

You get a 5.0 inches 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with the Moto C Plus. The resolution is just right for its price tag, but the display size not that much.

It would have been awesome if Motorola had decided to go with a 5.5-inch display. But I guess, the size selected was primarily driven by cost considerations.

The Moto C Plus comes with Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.

In addition to that you get 16GB as internal storage and a micro SD slot that can handle 32 GB of memory.

You get an 8MP camera for general photography and a 2MP camera for your selfies.
