Samsung is now ranked Fifth in the Chinese Smartphone Market

A recent report by IDC, a market research firm, ranks Samsung as the fifth largest Smartphone vendor in China.

Samsung now has a 7.9% market share in the market which is a massive drop from the 50% market share the company had during a similar period last month.

Xiaomi is still the leading Smartphone vendor in the country, months after it dethroned Samsung from the #1 spot.

Apple is performing impressively well in the market and now has a 12.3% market share, signifying a 99.7% growth from the company’s 2014 figures.

Lenovo (9.5%) and Huawei (11.0%) are ranked third and fourth respectively.
