A recent TrendForce report ranks Samsung as the largest smartphone on the planet. The South Korean Based Tech Giant maintained its 26.8% market share that it enjoyed in Q1 2015.
TrendForce attributes the performance of Samsung to the impressive performance of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
Samsung is expected to maintain and probably even improve its market share through the upcoming launch of the Galaxy Note 5.
Apple’s market share took a dive and the company now has a 16.4% market share, which is a 4.1% drop from what the company enjoyed in Q1 2015.
Huawei is the third largest smartphone vendor in the world with a Q2 2015 market share of 7.6%.
