Kilimall.co.ke has partnered with Safaricom to allow its customers shop on the e-commerce website using their Bonga points.
Kilimall is the first Kenyan e-commerce website to offer such a payment option. To pay using the Lipa na Bonga option, all customers have to do is dial *126# from their Safaricom lines, select “Lipa na Bonga Points” and follow the on-screen prompts to pay.
The Kilimall Lipa na Bonga points option has a redemption value of Ksh. 2 for every 10 bonga points. So for instance if you have 10000 bonga points, you will have a redemption value of Ksh. 2,000.
You can also chose to pay using a combination of the Lipa a Bonga Points option and M-Pesa.
The partnership deal that runs from today until 24th January 2017 seeks to benefit customers during the Christmas period and during the Back to School shopping.
