However, recently leaked info by a German tech blog, provides a sneak peek of a feature to expect from the Lumia 940 and 940 XL.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL will feature USB Type C connectors and this is kind of a big deal.
Why? You might ask
The USB Type C connector is the latest type of the USB connector. The use of a USB Type C eliminates the instances where you had to get the right side of the USB Type B connector in order to insert it into a USB Port.
This is because the Type C connector is reversible and thus easily slides into a USB Port regardless of which side is up.
The reversibility merit is just one of the many reasons why the USB Type C connector is awesome. The Type C connector is smaller, super-fast and provides faster charging times since it can deliver up to 100 watts at 20 volts.
Should the Microsoft Lumia 940 and 940 XL launch soon, they will be the first smartphones on the market to feature the technology.
