A year ago, Microsoft announced that the Edge browser would be getting vertical tabs and now here we are. Microsoft just announced that vertical tabs are now available.

This feature allows users to move their tabs to the side on a pane with a single click. For Microsoft, this was an interesting idea as they considered people who have many cluttered tabs open at once because you can move them to the side and see all the tab titles.

For those who use Bing, Microsoft will add a few useful features like making the search results page adapt dynamically. For example, when you decide to search for recipes, improved visuals will open you to a world of different delicacies and additional information like calories per serving.

One other useful feature Microsoft has added is accessing your browser history without losing context for the page you were on. See, when you click on History, it usually opens as a tab on its own. With this new feature, however, the history tab will open as a dropdown from the toolbar making browsing convenient.

Microsoft confirmed that all these features will have arrived over the next month.
