Vivo debuts its EURO 2020 campaign; the brand asks to put down your phone and enjoy the moment

The EURO tournament is here with us again and Vivo is the official partner for this year’s championship. As it commences, the brand has a special message for you- to put down your phone and enjoy the moment. It’s an unusual message coming from a company that sells phones, but hey, it’s a wonderful thought.

“We strive not only to help people capture and share life’s magical moments but to make every moment in life more magical,” said Spark Ni, Senior Vice President and CMO of Vivo.

The advertising campaign has gone live with the message “give your phone a break and be there for life’s beautiful moments.” It was also aired globally on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube and on TV in select European countries.

Vivo is the presenting partner for the opening ceremonies taking place on 11th June and 11th July, respectively. Stadiums will operate with limited attendance and that’s why Vivo and UEFA have created the #vivoSuperTime campaign, to allow fans all over the world to cheer on social media.

The company is looking at this partnership as an opportunity to connect with its growing base of over 400 million users globally and to reach new people.
