The Infinix Note 3 is finally here!
Background Info
The Infinix Note 3 is the latest Infinix Smartphone to launch in Kenya. The Note 3 is an upgrade of the Infinix Note 2, a phablet that launched sometime in December 2015.
The smartphone features some significant hardware upgrades with the highlight being the Full HD 6.0 display, fast charging and most importantly a fingerprint sensor.
That said, here is what the Infinix Note 3 has to offer.
Infinix Note 3 Specifications
Battery and Extras
Battery Capacity: 4500mAh
The battery capacity of the Infinix Note 3 is definitely the highlight of the smartphone.
The Infinix Note 3 features a 4500mAh battery. This is one of the largest battery capacity found on a budget smartphone and is only rivaled by the 5050 mAh Tecno L5 battery capacity.
In my tests, the Infinix Note 3 was able to give me close to 8 hours and 30 Minutes of on-screen time from a single charge. This is pristine even for a device with such a large battery capacity.
The smartphone features 4.5A fast charging technology, a feature that guarantees you up to 200 minutes talk time from just 5 minutes of charge.

The display is vibrant and it looks really good. The vibrancy of the display gives the smartphone a premium look and feel despite the smartphone’s budget price tag.
Design
Dimensions: 162.5 x 82.8 x 8.4mm
The Infinix Note 3 features a candy bar design concept.
Infinix replaced the polycarbonate construction with a fantastic metallicious build. The downside to the use of the premium material is that the Infinix Note 3 is quite heavy, significantly heavier than the Note 3.
You will definitely feel the weight of the smartphone when you begin using the smartphone, but you will with time get used to the weight.

You get a powerful MT6753 Octa-core 1.3GHz CPU coupled with some 2GB RAM with the Infinix Note 3. This setup is fantastic since stutters and lags are pretty much non-existent.
The Infinix Note 3 (3G) comes with 2GB RAM, up from the 1 GB RAM found on the Infinix Note 3 (3G).
Infinix Global MD has earlier on hinted that the company was phasing out 1 GB smartphone, and therefore the Note 3 (3G) could be the beginning of more 2 GB budget Infinix smartphones to come.
Another highlight of the Infinix Note 3 is that it runs XOS, a customized user interface that is the successor of the XUI. XOS is really neat and runs extremely well on the Infinix Note 3 hardware.
The other striking feature with the Infinix Note 3 is the fingerprint sensor. The Note 3 fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate, i really liked it.
