The Infinix Zero 4 is the latest Infinix smartphone to launch in Kenya.
The Zero 4 is the upgrade of the Zero 3, and its launch comes almost a year after the launch of the latter.
That said; check out the unboxing of the Infiniz Zero 4. If you are into videos, below is a video of the Zero 4 unboxing.
Packaging
The Infinix Zero 4 comes in a neat black rectangular packaging box. The box is simple yet elegant. It lacks the premium luster that the Zero 3 box had, but hey, it’s still quite good.
Infinix decided on a lean packaging concept and this is unlike the generous and sophisticated packaging box of the Tecno Phantom 6.
Inside the box you will find;
- Infinix Zero 4
- 3-Pin AC Charger
- USB Cable
- A Pair of Earphones
- Screen Protector
- SIM Ejector Tool
- Transparent Clam Shell Case
- User Guide
First Impressions
My first impression of the Infinix Zero 4 was generally positive. Yeah, I had expected more from the packaging, but i guess this is kind of insignificant since after all what’s inside the box is what really matters.
Unboxing the smartphone was pretty much straightforward and you can begin to experience the smartphone right away.
What I noticed first about the smartphone is the design. I have the gun metal color variant and I think it looks gorgeous and has this premium look and feel, something that is often elusive on budget smartphones.
The camera bulge is probably one of the design cues that ruined the otherwise flawless design. However, my Infinix insider sources explained that the bulge is as a result of the Optical Image stabilization components the camera possesses.
The good news is that the bulge becomes hard to notice when you clip on the clamshell case that comes with the Zero 4.
The display looks amazing. It’s a 2.5D one (as explained in our specifications review) and thus display details appear to pop out. The display does a good job of mimicking a curved display, but still struggles to emulate the effect. However, the 2.5D display still enhances the appeal of the smartphone.
The Infinix Zero 4 runs XOS out of the box and the software runs well, really well. I can compare it to sliding a hot knife through butter 🙂
I am yet to fully test the battery life of the Infinix Zero 4 but so far so good.
We will be doing a full review of the Infinix Zero 4 in the coming days and you can include in the comments details of the smartphone you would want highlighted.
