Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A (2017) smartphone range. The range which was originally unveiled in 2015, consists of the Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017).
The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) features upgrades in terms of design, performance and camera profile. The three smartphones now include a 3D glass, a sleek camera and maintains the iconic all metallic design concept.
In addition to this, the Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) have an IP68 water and dust resistance, allowing the phones to withstand the different elements of the environment.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) will first become available in Russia and will later on roll out to the global market. The Galaxy A3 (2017) has a suggested retail price of Ksh. 36.999 while the Galaxy A5 (2017) has a Ksh. 46,999 price tag.
