The Gionee S6s runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. The OS is really interesting, and by that I don’t mean good interesting. Gionee took a minimalistic approach with the S6s and the smartphone features rather basic customization.
The software is a bit challenging to use since there is no shortcut to access commonly used features such as Wi-Fi and brightness control. However, you get used to it after a while. But all in all, I feel like Gionee could have done a better job with the software.
