The Huawei P20 Lite is finally available in Kenya. It’s availability in Kenya comes just a couple of weeks after the smartphone launched globally.

The P20 Lite is a budget variant of the P20. However, it packs some a decent technical profile and is one of the best mid-range smartphone on the market.

That said, here is what the Huawei P20 has to offer.

The Huawei P20 Lite packs a 5.84 inches LTPS IPS LCD display. The display is interestingly slightly bigger than that of the P20 (0.04 inches, so rather insignificant).

The display has a 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution, which is just right for a smartphone in its price range.

Design

The P20 Lite has a great design. We have to talk about the notch. The notch is that little black bezel that extends over the display. The notch officially debuted on the iPhone X, even though Huawei claims that they thought of it first.

Overall, the design is quite good and the phone is just for you if you want your smartphones pretty.

A HiSilicon Kirin 659 powers the Huawei P20 Lite. I expected a Qualcomm chipset but recently Huawei got in a bit of trouble in the US and thus the P20 Lite could be the an indication that more future smartphone from the vendor will be using the in-house chipset.

Apart from that, you get 4GB RAM and an option of whether 32/64 GB as internal storage. It that ain’t enough, you have a memory card slot that can support up to 256GB of memory.
