A photo leak confirmed that indeed the Samsung Galaxy S5 zoom in the works. The leaked image complements performance information released in March by GFXBench, a benchmarking site. Galaxy S5 Zoom will provide a significant number of improvements that were absent on the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
As of now, it is not certain on whether Samsung will give the device the ‘Galaxy S5 Zoom’ tag or it will name it otherwise. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is rumored to sport a 20.2 MP rear snapper. This is a significant bump from the 16 MP camera that was found on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
If the rumors prove accurate, the S5 Zoom will have a camera with the largest pixel count ever placed on a Samsung device. The 20.2 MP camera of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom may be intimidating, but it actually comes a distant second from the 41 MP camera found on the Nokia Lumia 1020.
Early reports point out that the Galaxy S5 Zoom will lack 4K Video recording. This is very interesting as the Samsung Galaxy S5 is capable of 4K video shooting. It was a rather obvious assumption for the Galaxy S5 Zoom being a niche device, to have 4K video recording.
