Performance
Operating System: Android™ 7.1 (Nougat)
CPU: Quad-Core 1.4GHz Cortex-A53
RAM: 3GB
Internal Memory: 16GB
Micro SD: Yes, up to 128GB
The Wiko View has a relatively impressive performance profile. You get a a Quad-core snapdragon CPU coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The CPU is powerful enough to run low to mid-level intensive games and apps but might struggle with high intensive applications.
In addition to this, the Wiko View comes with 16GB as internal storage. This is a bit of a disappointment considering most smartphones in the price range come with 32GB of internal storage.
However, the good thing is that the smartphone comes with a Micro-SD card slot that can handle up to 128GB of memory and thus you have the freedom to expand to that capacity.
I feel like the decision to include just 16GB of RAM was as a result of the 3GB RAM. However, this is a good thing considering you can’t easily upgrade internal storage but not RAM.
On the software side, the Wiko View runs Android 7.1 Out of the box. The is no news on whether Wiko will upgrade the smartphone to Android 8.1.
