First Impressions
My first impressions of the Spark 3 Pro were generally positive. The first thing you will probably notice about the smartphone is its weight. The Spark 3 Pro is pretty light and you will enjoy using it if you have a preference for light devices. The downside of this is that the smartphone is all plastic and this is what contributes to the lightness of the smartphone.
The midnight black variant of the TECNO Spark 3 Pro is particularly beautiful. It has these amazing sparkles on the rear side that gives the smartphone a premium look and feel.
The display is another exciting feature of the smartphone. The display is bright and vibrant, something that if often elusive on budget smartphones. The display is particularly perfect for watching movies and a bit of gaming.
Let’s talk a bit about the camera, the camera app is neat and the quality of images captured by the TECNO Spark 3 Pro is pretty good. This is both for the back and selfie camera.
Android 9.0 Pie runs really well on the smartphone owing to the 2.0GHz Quad-Core CPU and 2GB RAM. The annoying bit about the software are the pop-up ads. You will encounter ads from time to time and this gets really annoying.
The good part is that, you can get rid of the ads by installing a third-party launcher from the Play store. I recommend the Nova Launcher.
The battery is also equally good. I was able to squeeze out a day from a single charge while on moderate usage.
All-in-all, I really like TECNO Spark 3 and it’s a decent entry-level smartphone that delivers more than what you pay for. 8/10 would recommend ?
