Nokia announced the Nokia 1.3 almost a year ago and now they are looking to upgrade the lineup with Nokia 1.4.
Key specs leaked say the phone will come with a 6.52” HD+ resolution display. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Storage is expandable to 128GB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, Nokia 1.4 offers a dual rear camera with LED flash. The primary sensor features an 8MP resolution while the secondary one is 2MP.
The front packs a 5MP selfie camera with a water-drop notch similar to its predecessor. The Nokia 1.4 is powered by a 4000mAh battery unit chargeable over a micro USB 2.0 port.
As for connectivity, a Dual sim is included however, only one of the cards supports 4G networks and the other is 2G. This is a huge letdown as more and more phones offer 5G support even budget ones. And considering 5G is now locally available, Nokia will have to step their game up to survive the market.
Basic sensors for proximity and accelerometer have been equipped. What stands out though, is that Nokia 1.4 will be the first of the Nokia 1 series to pack a fingerprint sensor.
We expect the phone to arrive in March the same way Nokia introduced the Nokia 1.3 in the first quarter of 2020.
