Smartphone brands like OPPO, Xiaomi, and Realme have been progressively innovative, offering high-quality devices at affordable prices. They have been big on value for money while still keeping their customers happy with impeccable smartphones.
Realme particularly has been making continuous strides to increase sales, with the C11, C15, C25, and even the 8 Pro. Last week, Realme’s Vice President, Xu Qi, announced the Realme Q3 series will be unveiled soon. Now, Realme has officially confirmed the Q3 series product launch will be held on April 22.
The VP also announced the Q3 will be the start of a new generation dubbed “thousand-yuan king.” Meaning the smartphone will not cost more than 1999 yuan (Ksh. 32,955).
Xu Qi also gave insights on the appearance of the Q3. Notably, the smartphone’s “DARE TO LEAP” logo will be luminous fluorescent and will glow at night giving it a unique appearance. Realme said this does not consume power at all.
Today, Realme’s Industrial designer further explained the design dubbed “Firefly”. It boldly uses highly saturated fluorescent colors to give the Q3 a strong visual impact in line with today’s younger generation who are seeking attention and uniqueness.
He adds that as long as the sunlight has been absorbed during the day, the green luminescent effect like fireflies will be released during the night. The “Firefly” design will only be available for the Q3 Pro.
From what we’ve heard, the Q3 will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED 120Hz screen, a 64MP triple camera set-up, a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset, and a 4500 mAh battery with 50W fast charging.
