Infinix is gearing up to launch the latest addition to its Hot series. The lineup will consist of three models including the Hot 12, 12i, and Hot 12 Play, much like last year.
While the company hasn’t confirmed when it will be unveiling the trio, live images and specs of one of the models, the 12i, have surfaced.
The handset will sport a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 720 x 1612 resolution and a 5000mAh battery. Unfortunately, the charging speed was not specified.
As seen from the photo below, the 12i will also come equipped with a triple camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary lens, a 2MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro unit.
Under the hood, the performance-centric device comes with MediaTek’s Helio A22 chipset complemented by 2GB of RAM. The RAM is also expandable by 2GB of virtual RAM, giving you 4GB in total.
Storage-wise, you get 64GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot to expand. Straight out of the box, the Hot 12i will come running Android 11 Go Edition and feature a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Hot 12i will be an entry-level smartphone and may launch for around Ksh. 15,499.
