TECNO Mobile has officially launched the Phantom X2 Series in Kenya. The TECNO Phantom X2 series is the 2023 flagship smartphone portfolio from the brand. The launch of the TECNO Phantom X2 comes close to a year since the launch of the predecessor series, the Phantom X.
The PHANTOM X2 Series, which includes the PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G and PHANTOM X2 5G, represents the brand’s entry into the high-end smartphone market with innovative features and exceptional performance. The PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G features a 65mm focal length, 2.5x optical zoom retractable portrait lens, revolutionizing image-making in the smartphone industry.
Users can capture professional camera-quality portraits with just a pocket-sized device. The X2 Pro 5G also offers an eco-friendly edition with a microfiber back cover made from recycled plastics, setting a new standard for sustainable design in the industry. Both the PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G and X2 5G are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 4nm 5G chip, feature a unique unibody double-curved design and 3.5D lunar crater design in three space-inspired colors, resulting in an attractive look and comfortable feel.
The PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G boasts four exceptional cameras, with the standout feature being its innovative retractable portrait lens. The PHANTOM X2 Series includes the PHANTOM X2 Pro 5G Eco-Friendly Edition, which features a pioneering environmentally friendly back cover made from materials recovered from the ocean. Through a complex and multi-stage process, the waste materials are transformed into microfibers and then woven to create a durable material used for the cover.
Each Eco-Friendly Edition back cover contains 14.4% recycled material, compared to virgin plastics, using recycled materials to manufacture the back covers reduces carbon emissions by approximately 38%. Each individual cover produces an estimated 2.4g fewer emissions on average.
