HTC will soon launch the Rapid Charger 2.0, a universal charger that will charge some select HTC smartphones about 40% faster than regular chargers.
The HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 will use Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology that can charge 60% of a 3300 mAh battery in just 30 minutes.
The HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 popped up on the official HTC accessories page, an indication that its launch is imminent.
The Rapid Charger 2.0 will be compatible with all HTC smartphones, but you have to own some select HTC smartphones below to fully harness the true potential of the charger.

HTC devices that feature the Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 technology such as the HTC One (M7) will still be able to use the charger but at a slightly lesser speed.
HTC is yet to reveal details on the price of the Rapid Charger 2.0 charger. The charger is, however, tipped to have a $34.99 price tag, which is similar to what you pay for a Motorola Turbo charger.
