Lollipop 5.0 has officially made its debut onto the Android Distribution Chart.
Lollipop 5.0 has been conspicuously missing on the chart months after its release. This is mainly because very few devices run the latest version of the Android Operating System.
Lollipop 5.0 now own 1.6% of the Android pie but its share is expected to rise once more devices running the OS version hit the market.
Android 4.4 KitKat is still the most popular version of the Android OS and has grown from 39.1% (Jan) to 39.7%.
The three Jelly Bean releases i.e Android 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 hold a 44.5% aggregate share making Jelly Bean the current market leader.
