Microsoft has announced that it sold 8.6 Million Lumia devices in its Q3 2015 fiscal quarter.
The Q3 2015 period, which ended on 31st March, saw the Redmond-based tech giant report an 18% rise in its smartphone sales when compared to the year before.

The Lumia Smartphone sales minted $1.4 Billion for the company, which is a 16% drop from figures reported in the same quarter a year ago.
Microsoft attributes the drop to an increase in the numbers of low loyalty devices.
