A list of devices confirmed to receive the Android 6.0 update has leaked online and it has the Samsung Galaxy S5 as one of the smartphones slated to receive the Android 6.0 update.
It was rather expected that the Galaxy S5 will be receiving the Android 6.0 update since it is Samsung’s 2014 flagship smartphone and it is the norm for the company to provide firmware updates for at least two years.
The list of smartphones slated to receive the Android 6.0 update comes just weeks after Google officially unveiled the operating system.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 plus the Galaxy E series will also receive the Android 6.0 update, which is an obvious move to arouse more interest in the mid-range smartphones.
Apart from Samsung, the list includes a good number of HTC, Huawei and LG smartphones.
