Tecno Mobile Kenya and Friends of Tecno Mobile contributed and donated Ksh. 356,680 to the Arise Children’s Home.
The Arise Children’s Home is an orphanage located in the Ngando slums (Dagorretti). The orphanage has a noble mission of upbringing orphaned/vulnerable children and youth and molding them into independent and responsible members of the society.
The Arise Children’s Home is part of the Arise Child Development Organization, a not for profit and non- governmental organization that operates from the Ngando slums.
The amount donated was contributed through the Phantom 5 cocktail party.
Invited guests were encouraged to donate to the noble cause and Tecno Mobile replicated their philanthropic efforts through a promise to double whatever the amount the guests at the cocktail party donated.
At the end of the event the total amount donated totaled Ksh. 356,680.
The amount will go a long way in boosting the efforts of the Arise Child Development Organization’s vision of ensuring that every child should be brought up in a secure and conducive environment.
