The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was a huge success for Samsung. For one, it offered almost all of the cool specs that came with the Galaxy S20 at a lower price tag. So, it’s no surprise that Samsung would have the Galaxy S21 FE in the works.
But first off, what exactly does FE mean? The letters ‘FE’ stands for Fan Edition and this variant usually delivers a ‘value for money’ experience with some costs skimped on to keep the pricing low. Hence, the success of the Galaxy S20 FE.
About two months ago, we found out the Galaxy S21 FE was in development. Now, fresh renders published by @OnLeaks showcases the Galaxy S21 FE’s design and what to expect.
At first glance, the S21 FE looks quite similar to the Galaxy S21. But looking at it closely, you’ll notice the design has been slightly tweaked. For the Galaxy S21, the rear camera panel protrudes from the metal frame itself, what Samsung calls ‘Contour-cut design’.
As for the Galaxy S21 FE, the rear camera housing protrudes from the back panel and not the metal frame. That sleek element of the contour cut design has been detracted but overall, the design is pretty much as expected.

Besides that minor design tweak, the Galaxy S21 FE will be slightly smaller than the S20 FE with 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm dimensions. It’s worth mentioning that it is a bit taller and wider than the regular S21, but shorter than the previous S20 FE.
The Galaxy S21 FE will also feature a slightly larger 6.4-inch Infinity-O display compared to Galaxy S21’s 6.2-inch display. It’s unclear when Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S21 FE, but one thing’s for sure, we’ll have to hold on to our horses.
Samsung didn’t unveil the S20 FE until September last year. And especially with the S21 early debut in mind, we don’t expect the Smartphone brand to rush a sequel that fast.
They say all good things come to those who wait, so if you can afford to wait, you’ll experience Samsung’s Flagship experience without having to break the bank.
