First Impressions
The first you will notice just after unboxing the Infinix Hot 10 Play is the size of the smartphone. This is owning to the display of the smartphone. The Infinix Hot 10 Play offers a massive 6.82-inch display and this is quite large by all standards.
Speaking of the display, it’s not just about its physical size but also has a bit of sophistication. The display is bright and vibrant. Outdoor visibility is excellent and so are the viewing angles. The decision by Infinix to include this particular display size is deliberate.
The Hot 10 Play is designed to be a gaming-centric smartphone and the display is often the core pillar of mobile gaming. You should therefore be able to enjoy excellent gaming sessions on the devices to the size.
In addition to this, the display size is just right for streaming multimedia content on the device. That plus simply playing videos on your smartphone. Therefore, if you are looking for a smartphone that will be your primary source of entertainment and a tool to kill boredom, the Infinix Hot 10 Play is a fine choice.
Another noteworthy feature of the smartphone is the battery. The Infinix Hot 10 Play packs a generous Li-Po 6000mAh. That battery capacity is quite huge since 4000mAh batteries are still considered the standard capacity for most smartphones.
The capacity is large enough to last the moderate user about two from a single charger. For the heavy users esp. the mobile gaming crowd, the capacity should effortlessly be able to take you through a day from a single charging session.
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 10 play packs the Mediatek Helio G70 chipset. This is what justifies the smartphone to have the gaming smartphone tag. The Helio G70 is designed specifically for mobile gaming.
Other than that, the only significant downside I noted with the Hot 10 Play is probably the charger. The smartphone comes with a 2A charger and I feel like Infinix should have maybe done a better job and blessed the Hot 10 Play with fast charging tech.
