Samsung Galaxy A series of Android smartphones have gone up for pre-order on Jumia Kenya. You can now pre-order the Galaxy A10, A20, A30 and A50 online.
Samsung is super aggressive about reclaiming the budget and mid-range segment of the market and true to that, the super competitive price tag of the smartphones will definitely attract
The Samsung Galaxy A10 goes for (Ksh. 11,999), the Galaxy A20 (Ksh. 16,499), Galaxy A30 (Ksh. 22,499) and the Galaxy A50 (Ksh. 30,499).
I am not sure if this is the recommended retail price or just the pre-order price. Either way, the prices are quite good considering the technical profile of the smartphones.
The smartphones are however, already available in offline markets but at a slightly higher price.
Samsung means business in 2019 and Galaxy A series devices might just be what the brand needs to disrupt the budget & mid-range smartphone market especially in Kenya.
