Tech Trends Diary Verdict
It is quite interesting that the Galaxy K Zoom just like the S4 Zoom, comes with 8GB of internal memory, as opposed to the minimum 16GB found in most high-end devices. This is opposed to the 32GB internal memory found on a similar niche device, the Nokia Lumia 1020.
Plenty of internal memory is more of an essential for the storage of the high quality images captured. You can argue that the expandable memory will handle the bulk of the images captured, but that is still limited to 64GB, half of what the Galaxy S5 can handle.
Another interesting bit about the Galaxy K Zoom is the lack of a USB 3.0 interface. A USB 3.0 interface achieves some crazy transfer speeds on a compatible 3.0 port. This would have come in handy during the bulk transfer of images.
However, the great thing about the Galaxy K zoom is that it looks more of a Smartphone than a camera, thus inconspicuous. Another great feature with the Galaxy K Zoom is the Selfie Alarm.
The feature works as a timer whereby it will take three simultaneous shots when it detects your face. You can later on choose between which of the three images will garner more double taps on Instagram.
Otherwise, the Galaxy K Zoom is the perfect companions for professional and amateur photographer or for folks like me who intend to use the dedicated Selfie feature to fulfill their innermost narcissistic desires.
