The Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is one of the finest mid-range Smartphones in the market. Unlike, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the S5 Mini is, more of a compact variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Samsung seems to be embracing the trend of creating ‘compact’ variants of Flagship handsets instead of mid-tier handsets with watered down flagship ship grade specifications.
One of the selling points of the S4 Mini was its awesome price advantage. The S5 Mini comes at a price close to that of its sire. It will, therefore, be very interesting to see just how the Galaxy S5 Mini will perform in emerging Smartphone markets.
I am of the opinion that the S5 Mini will not be that of a hit in the Kenyan Smartphone market like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The S5 Mini may however, perform impressively in developed Smartphone markets.
It could be probable that Samsung may go the Galaxy S3 Lite way and may be create a Galaxy S5 Lite specifically for Kenyans, who knows? (Nothing official, just a theory)
