Samsung has added three more tablets to its extensive Android tablets line. The Galaxy Tab 4 lineup leaked about a week before its official launch, and the leaks seemed to be accurate to the letter. The recently launched slates have the exact similar technical specifications but differ in terms of screen sizes.
The Galaxy Tab 4 lineup includes a 7 inch, an 8 inch and a 10.1 inch tablet. Offering the Galaxy Tab 4 in different display sizes, is a deliberate move by the South Korean Tech Giant to capture the different levels of the market.
All the three tablets from the lineup will come with Android KitKat v 4.4 out of the box. There is also a significant bump in terms of CPU and RAM specs compared to the Galaxy Tab 3 line up.
Quick Tech Specifications
CPU: 1.2 GHz Quad Core
RAM: 1.5 GB
Camera: 3MP FF + 1.3 MP
The Galaxy Tab 4 lineup is expected to appeal mostly to the budget conscious tablet consumer. Samsung, however, remained tight lipped on the pricing for the Galaxy Tab 4 slates.
The Tab 4 will begin appearing in stores beginning this month (April 2014).
The Galaxy Tab line has always been a crowd favorite in Kenya. It will, therefore, be interesting to see how the Galaxy Tab 4 lineup will perform in Kenya.
I will keep you updated on the pricing.
