Samsung has for quite some time been trying to tighten its grip on the budget smartphone segment.
Smartphone vendors such as Xiaomi and Micromax have given the largest global smartphone vendor some serious competition in two of its Key smartphone markets i.e. China and India.
Well, in a move decoded by Industry watchers as a strategic intention to focus on emerging smartphone markets, Samsung will stop shipping smartphones priced under 250 Euros to Netherlands and a number of unnamed European countries.
It will be interesting to see the ripple effects of the move in emerging Samsung markets.
