Samsung is looking to upgrade its low-end Galaxy A series smartphones to Android 11 and the Galaxy A02s appears to be one of the first.

Launched late last year and only recently became available locally, the A02s ticked all of the right boxes except one, the Android OS version it came with. Samsung’s fanbase was not happy that one of their latest smartphones run the over a year-old Android 10 out of the box.

Fortunately, Samsung is making amends by pushing a more stable Android 11 update for the A02s which will also come embedded with the April 2021 security patch.
