Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 ranked as the most powerful chipset on the market

A recent AnTuTu Benchmark report has ranked the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 as the most powerful chipset on the market.

The Snapdragon 820 is the current flagship from Qualcomm and the chipset features in a number of recently launched Android flagship smartphones. It was, therefore, expected that the chipset will perform exemplary well in the rankings.

Apple’s in-house chipset, the A9, comes a close second. The A9 is also the best chipset Apple has to offer and the chipset powers the iPhone 6 and 6s.

Samsung’s propriety chipset, the Exynos 8890 ranks third and while Huawei’s Kirin 950 is the fourth most powerful chipset you can find on the market.
