Just last week, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max which as we saw packed a supreme technical profile that was unrivaled by any other budget smartphone.
Now, Realme has delivered an answer to Xiaomi by introducing two new additions to their impressive budget Android line-up; the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro which is quite the contender considering one of its major highlights is a 108MP camera.
Interestingly enough, the 108MP primary sensor comes from Samsung ISOCELL which as it happens is also the same sensor the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max packs.

The cameras on both phones are pretty much the same except for the fact the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max features a 5MP macro lens while the Realme 8 Pro packs a 2MP macro lens.
The optics part aside, the Realme 8 Pro offers a 6.4-inch AMOLED Display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. What’s disappointing about the display, however, is that it only offers a 60Hz refresh rate (side note, the Note 10 Pro Max display has a 120Hz refresh rate).
Despite not ticking all the boxes, the Realme 8 Pro is still the only capable rival and best alternative to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
