The news came from Prashant Bindal, Spice Mobility’s CEO, who stated that the Dream Uno smartphone will receive the Android 5.0 update in January 2015. However, word around is that the Android 5.0 update is already consumer ready and could start seeding out as early as mid-December 2014.
All Android One Smartphones have that exact technical specification profile and this the Android 5.0 update is expected to seed out at once to the devices regardless of the brand.
With a price tag of $105, the Android One Smartphone will be among the cheapest devices running Android 5.0
