The groups feature of the WhatsApp application is one of the best functionalities of the app.
However, WhatsApp groups can be a bit annoying since basically anyone with your number can add you into some random group and you might be too nice to leave it.
Well, the good news is that the developers at WhatsApp are working on a neat privacy feature that will allow you to choose who can add you into a group.
You will have three privacy options to choose from, you either decide whether everyone, contacts or nobody can automatically add you to a group.
When you select the ‘nobody’ option, you will still be able to see invite requests and decide on whether you accept the requests or not.
The feature is currently in beta testing and it should hopefully become available in the coming weeks. The privacy feature comes just a couple of weeks after Face and Touch ID security feature became available on WhatsApp on iOS.
