The Oppo F1s is currently one of the most popular mid-range Android smartphones in Kenya.
Oppo has been on an active path to expand its share in the Kenyan smartphone market and the F1s is one of its star devices in the county.
That said, here is what the Oppo F1s has to offer.
Specifications
Camera
Rear Camera: 13 MP
Secondary Camera: 16 MP
LED Flash: Yes
The camera profile of the Oppo F1s is definitely the highlight of the smartphone. You get a 13 MP camera for general photography and an impressive 16 MP camera for your selfies.
From my experience using the device, the camera does perform very well. However, where it disappoints is on the White Balance where some of the images come out appearing over saturated.
Performance
Operating System: Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop)
CPU: 1.5 GHz Octa-core
RAM: 3 GB
Internal Memory: 32 GB

The performance profile of the Oppo F1s is another aspect of the device that makes it a darling among smartphone buyers. A Mediatek MT6755 chipset powers the F1s and this is coupled with 3 GB RAM. This setup is quite impressive and close to the standard you can expect from devices in its price range.
About the software, it’s a bit of a disappointment that the Oppo F1s comes with Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. I had expected at least Android V.6.0 (Marshmallow). However, Oppo custom UI the ColorOS, is fantastic.
Yeah, the OS is pretty much a copy of Apple iOS but hey it works flawlessly. There are no stutters or lags while using the phone and I generally loved the experience.
In addition to this, you get a fingerprint reader just below the display.
