The TECNO Camon 11 is now available in Safaricom shops countrywide.
The Safaricom version is identical to the standard version in term of features. The difference is that it has a single SIM card slot and costs Ksh. 15,999.
The version sold in Safaricom is priced about Ksh. 1,000 higher than the standard dual-sim version that launched in the market in November 2018.
The Safaricom version, however, comes bundled with a free 2GB data bundle.
This is interesting considering that the standard TECNO Camon 11 version costs Ksh. 14,999 and comes bundled with a 25BG Faiba data offer.
The catch is that you have to load the smartphone with Ksh. 1,000 worth of credit in order to activate the ‘free’ Faiba data bundle offer.
Therefore, the important determinant on whether to go for the Safaricom or the standard version seems to be how much you value Dual SIM connectivity.
The Camon 11 is one of the most popular smartphones on the market and it made to our January list of the best smartphones priced under Ksh. 15,000.
