Realme is having a launch party on June 15 where they will be unveiling the Snapdragon 888-powered Realme GT 5G. Additionally, the brand’s first laptop and tablet will be making an appearance during the event.
Having a laptop and tablet in its portfolio is not only a first for Realme but all BBK Electronics brands in general. For clarification purposes, BBK Electronics is the parent company of some cool smartphone brands like OnePlus, OPPO, and Realme.
The laptop was teased by Realme’s India and Europe CEO and was leaked by Android Authority. The Realme Book looks a lot like a MacBook with some key differences like the 3:2 aspect ratio screen. The photos also showcase an aluminum body with super-thin bezels and dual speaker grilles under the body.
Unfortunately, the tech platform didn’t get any photos of Realme’s upcoming tablet. However, it shouldn’t be too long before we see it released in the mid-week.
Smartphone brands are increasingly diversifying their portfolios as we also saw Infinix launch its first flagship laptop series two weeks ago. For Realme, they will definitely solidify their market share with these future laptops and tablets.
