The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is one of the most awaited devices to date. And with concepts and rumors about the phone leaking regularly, it’s hard to figure out what the device will actually look like.
However, a recent leak by a popular tipster revealed the S22 could be Samsung’s smallest flagship phone in recent years. In fact, the length, width, and thickness could be a little smaller than iPhone 13. A move that Samsung hasn’t confirmed yet, but has been welcomed by many.
With recent devices like the S21 offering a massive 6.8 inches and the 6.7 inches ‘+’ variant, those of us still carrying a torch for the days of a more reserved phone design have felt like they’ve seen the light at the end of the tunnel.
The rumor also suggested that due to its smaller design, the S22 will be powered by a 3,700mAh battery, down from 4000mAh in the S21.
Question is, will the 3,700mAh battery have the capacity to power the Snapdragon 898 chipset expected to launch in the next few months. Clocking up to 3.0Ghz, the Snapdragon 898 chipset appeared on Geekbench with an Adreno 730 GPU alongside 8GB RAM.
It’s still not certain what Samsung has planned or will do so we’ll have to wait and see over the next few months. Although, making the S22 a bit smaller would be an awesome decision.
