TECNO has announced its plans to globally unveil the Camon 19 series in New York City at the iconic Rockefeller Center. The spectacular event is to be held on June 14 and afterwards, arrive the local market through a launch scheduled for the 20th of this month.
The company recently announced Kenyan Singer and Songwriter Otile Brown as the series new Brand Ambassador and Chief Creative Officer. The artiste will be part of the marketing team and is expected to create a song for the Camon 19 series. The track will be available on the handset as a ringtone.
Although details regarding features are still unknown, the device is said to be a work of art for its outstanding and stylish design. In fact, the Camon 19 series recently won the world-renowned iF Design Award alongside the Phantom X, where it was praised heavily for its incredibly slim bezels as well as the dual ring, triple camera layout.
We also know TECNO will be among the first brands to incorporate Android 13 beta to its Camon 19 Pro 5G. Yes, the Camon 19 series will have a 5G variant and will also include the regular Camon 19 and Camon 19 Pro.
As usual, we expect photography and performance to be top-notch, and thanks to TECNO’s joint development with Samsung, the Camon 19’s RGBW lens brings better low-light shooting and reduced light crosstalk.
We’ll be sure to learn more as the launch event closes in. For pre-orders, deposit Ksh. 2,000 at any of TECNO’s retail stores in the country as well as online at Jumia, Masoko, and Kilimall. Pre-order gifts include TECNO earbuds, backpacks as well as packages worth Ksh. 7,000.
