The tech works by automatically detecting which of the two connected Wi-Fi connection offers best performance and selects the best option.
The Dual Wi-Fi feature is quite neat and internal tests have shown that the tech has the potential to increase the download speed by up to 322% and the page load speed by 44.5% when you compare it to a normal Wi-Fi connection.
The feature is particularly helpful for those who deal with multiple wireless networks. It also comes in handy for online gaming (faster latency) as well as when downloading large files.
The feature was demoed on the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, a premium device that will launch in Kenya in the coming weeks.
