Mozilla, the maker of the popular Firefox browser, has released a dedicated android app for its VPN (Virtual Private Network) services after a period of development.
With this app, user data is separated from the browser and reduces the cost of connection to other networks over the internet.
At a cost of $4.99/month, Mozilla, the developers of the very successful Firefox browser, promises to offer more security at greater speeds. Security and Privacy has been for a while a trending issue amid rising cases of corporation misusing private data.
The Firefox Private Network employs the Wireguard protocol standard together with services powered by Mullvad VPN rather than some of the conventional protocols that have been integrated previously such as the OpenVPN and IPsec.
Considering the wide global reach of the Firefox Private Network in over 30 countries, this VPN android app is expected to serve robustly with up to five simultaneous connections and without any hassles due to the fact that many other VPN services do not support the Wireguard standard.
The Beta version of this app is available in the play store and requires an invite for users to sign up. More information and details can be found on the official site for the Firefox Private Network.
