It can be hard to believe that just a couple of years ago Still Cameras were the only readily available gadgets that we could use to take photographs. For that reason, many still have lots of old hard-copy photographs in their Albums.
Meet PhotoScan, a recently launched utility app from Google that is dedicated to digitizing all your old photographs.
The PhotoScan App has a pretty much straight forward functionality.
You capture a photo of your old photographs, scan the photo and the app straightens the photo and removes glare. You can then decide to auto enhance the photo, add filters and generally edit the photo.
After that you can choose to upload the photo to the Google cloud or simply save it locally. The app is perfect for all those throwback Thursday posts.
The app is free for download from the Play Store, you should definitely check it out.
